Important Information

If you have not already "notified" a claim to your insurer please do so. This is not the same as asking if you are covered. This will protect your position. Do this even if you have been told you are not covered.

What?
We are a hospitality led crowdfund campaign to fund legal action and show solidarity against insurers' refusal to cover business interruption in the wake of covid19. We are supported by UK Hospitality, the leading organisation representing the hospitality industry.

Why us?
We are hospitality led. We are backed by UK Hospitality. We are part of the hospitality industry and love it! We aren't at the mercy of a law firm and any final award you might get won't be swallowed up by legal fees and legal funders.

What now?
Go to our crowdfund page and donate whatever you can. If you want your individual policy to be considered and included in the initial report please donate a minimum of £200. Please leave a comment, they are very powerful testaments to the huge effect this is having on hospitality businesses. Any donation is gratefully received, it all helps to show the insurance industry that hospitality stands united and will not be rolled over.

Next Steps
Everyone who has donated £200 or more will be sent a link to upload all their documents.  Action is then planned as set out in crowdfund page.

Who are we?
The campaign is being led by Rob Atkinson, a leading in-house hospitality lawyer with Black & White Hospitality which owns the franchise rights for Marco Pierre White restaurants and manages a number of hotels across the UK under brands by Hilton and IHG, as well as independents. With 20 years' experience as an in-house lawyer, Rob has a long track record of managing specialist law firms, barristers and other advisors to ensure best value advice and maximum returns to policy holders.

Working together the hospitality industry will refuse to accept the unacceptable
