The British Council in Saudi Arabia is proud to announce the upcoming Language Assessment Conference, to be held on 8 and 9 May 2023, at Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, in Riyadh.
Theme and format
This year's theme, 'Innovations in English Language Assessment,' promises to be an exciting event that will showcase the latest trends and developments in the field of language assessment.
The conference will feature plenary speeches, panel discussions, and case study presentations. It aims to raise awareness of language assessment, find out new trends and challenges, and showcase the excellent work that the British Council has done in the area of English language assessment. The conference will provide an opportunity for leaders from English departments in the higher education sector and national private schools, as well as representatives from government ministries, corporate sector organizations, and other stakeholders to come together and share their experiences, knowledge, and insights. The conference is a hybrid event, with both in-person and online participation options available. The conference platform, Whova, will provide a seamless and interactive experience for online attendees.
Programme and speakers
