Agriculture courses

T Levels, diplomas and apprenticeships

You’ll have access to the latest technology at Hartpury College, helping you gain the specialist skills and experience needed to drive the future of the industry. You’ll be taught by experienced and passionate lecturers who’ll share their agricultural expertise with you.

Make the most of our 360-hectare estate and on-site commercial farm – your own classroom. You’ll learn the theory behind the latest farming practices, and put them straight into practice on our livestock and arable farm. Gain skills across the supply chain, through our contracts with big brand like Muller, Farmer Fresh and RJ Kerr. You could even work with industry professionals from businesses such as the NFU.

You'll be exposed to data-driven smart farming and real business innovations in our Agri-Tech Centre and Tech Box Park; the first phases in our 10-year Digital Innovation Farm vision. There’s also dedicated classrooms, designated machinery workshops, an advanced new dairy parlour and 400 hectares of arable land for students to gain experience. This will give you the opportunity to build an impressive technical skillset that stands out to future employers.

T Levels

T Levels are set to become one of the main choices after GCSEs. Developed with employers and educational providers, these two-year ‘technical programmes’ give students the applied skills that industries need. With a T Level, you’ll gain a high-quality education and heaps of practical skills. This will open a clearly defined route into further study or a skilled role within our related land-based industries.

An apprenticeship can also be a valuable first step into an agricultural career.
