Today we announced support for a petition filed with the U.S. FDA calling on the agency to address off-label prescribing of fenofibrates for cardiovascular disease risk reduction. Despite the many safe, effective, and FDA-approved treatments available on the market proven to reduce cardiovascular disease risk, patients are still being treated with fenofibrates off-label.
