Episode 3: Whole family support for the impact of sexual abuse
In this episode we talk about the importance of whole family support services, and how we can support parents whose children have disclosed sexual abuse. Gemma is joined by Vicky Mattison and Candice Harris, who at the time of recording in February 2022 were working at the Lighthouse in London. The Lighthouse is the first childhood sexual abuse service in the UK to bring together health and criminal justice services, child protection, therapeutic providers, and specialist services in one place where children and families can access support. This is an approach called the Child House Model.
