Lucy joined the MRC ConDuCT Hub in October 2014 as a hub-funded PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Esther Crawley, Dr. Nicola Mills and Prof. Bridget Young. The purpose of her PhD project was to explore how preferences for treatment influence RCT recruitment and participation, specifically focusing on the preferences of young people and their parents considering recruitment to complex behavioural and surgical paediatric RCTs.  The graduation ceremony took place in the Wills Memorial Building where Lucy received her PhD accompanied by Esther Crawley pictured far right.
