About this event

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED

We are delighted to announce that the Cheshire and Warrington LEP Economic Summit and AGM, will take place on 30th September.

We are thrilled that our keynote speaker is Andy Haldane, Chief Economist and Executive Director, Monetary Analysis and Research, at the Bank of England who will deliver an update on the UK economy and provide insights into the challenges and opportunities facing our nation.

As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is felt, forecasts suggest our economy will shrink by at least 10%. As we now work together to build a better future for Cheshire and Warrington, we will ask ‘What is needed to secure our position as the UK’s healthiest, most sustainable, inclusive and growing economy?’

We will discuss the response, restart and recovery in Cheshire and Warrington, as well as key priorities moving forward to building a better future in our sub-region.

We will also be joined by an exciting panel (panellists to be confirmed) for a debate to include audience questions and our Senior Management Team will deliver a review of the Cheshire and Warrington LEP performance.

Due to ongoing social distancing restrictions, this event will take place online. Joining details on Zoom will be made available once guests have registered.

We hope you can join us for what we hope will be an insightful morning.

Regards,

Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership
