Get to Know Me

Scott is a tax partner and Practice Leader of the firm’s Theatre and Entertainment Group based out of the New York office. Scott has more than 17 years of diversified public accounting experience with a focus on partnership, S corporation and individual taxation. He has served the tax needs of closely-held businesses and their owners including all aspects of tax compliance and representation, researching advanced tax issues and providing business structuring advice. As a leader of the firm’s Theatre and Entertainment Group, Scott advises Broadway, Off-Broadway and touring productions, and artists on a variety of domestic and international tax issues.

He works with production companies to design tax-efficient ownership structures, analyzes and provides guidance on partnership agreements, and consults with producers and general managers on a multitude of issues affecting the industry. Scott is also an expert on government support programs impacting the theatre and entertainment sector and has worked with government officials at the federal and state levels to design programs that provide much needed assistance to the industry.
