What's "the process" like?

​

We want the process to be easy as possible for our customers. We have a lot of good information and pictures on our website, but you can always reach us via email, chat, or Facebook messages on our Facebook page @cakesbygyo.

Step #1: Reach out and let us know what you are looking for

​

Critical information is your timeline, how many people, general design ideas, type of cake (buttercream or fondant) and what flavors you want. Once we get that information we can give you a quote of how much the cake will be.

Each cake is different and unique, so giving out standard pricing is hard prior to having all of the information.

 

Step #2: We agree on price and timeline and we get to work!

 

It's pretty much that simple. We will send over an invoice for a portion of the cake up front since we are going to start making it and investing time and resources in the project. If you are interested in doing a tasting, we can certainly set that up as well free of charge.

 

In fact, for larger purchases like wedding cakes or large parties and events, we recommend a tasting to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. Come over, indulge in some delicious cake or cupcakes, and meet the family! Heck, we'll even throw in some beverages if it's helpful.

 

Preparing for the tasting we will give you a choice of several flavors to choose from and serve those for you to eat.

 

Step #3: We will provide you with your perfect cake on time, every time

 

At Cakes by Gyo, we pride ourselves in exceeding our customers expectations. Your cake will be right, every time. It's not just food to us, it's a work of art and we want you to love it. It should be an inspiration and delight you and your guests.

 

On the agreed upon day, you can do curbside pick up for your cake or we will deliver it for a fee. Parties that have specific requirements can be accommodated but we need to know in advance. For example, if the cake has to be the restaurant at exactly 6pm, we can make that happen.

 

Step #4: Enjoy your day!

 

We are happy when you are happy. Nothing makes us more happy than getting a follow up email or text with a picture of the event and some kind words. That's what we live for! That puts the icing on the cake for this little bakery. It's not just the custom cake, it's the joy it brings to the people who are able to celebrate around it.

 

We are a locally owned bakery located in the Green Valley Ranch Neighborhood in Denver, CO

 

What started out as us providing cakes to our friends turned into something more. Now we have many stories of strangers who we now call friend.

Our bakery hours are from 7am-9pm Monday through Sunday. We are almost always available to take calls, respond to messages, and make sure we are plugged into what our customers want and need.
