About this event

The NOAH Conference ‘Animal health and securing our future – a vital connection’ takes place on 1 February, at One Great George Street in Westminster, London. Come and join us!

With confirmed speakers Shadow Minister (Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) Daniel Zeichner MP and Chair of the Liberal Democrats’ Food and Farming Working Group Stuart Roberts we will examine the contribution of animal disease prevention to sustainable food production, as well as the importance of innovation and how we can remove some of the barriers to its adoption.

We will look at the importance of the regulatory framework for veterinary medicines, and an expert panel will take a One Health perspective to discuss how we can work together for the best outcomes for UK animals and a sustainable food supply.

There will be plenty of time for networking and discussion.

Our speakers include:

Gavin Hall, Deputy Chief Executive Officer/Director of Authorisations, VMD Tom Woolman, Cadenza Management Services - poultry industry consultant Dr Jude Capper, ABP Chair and Professor of Sustainable Beef and Sheep systems at Harper Adams University and independent Livestock Sustainability Consultant, Dr Anna Judson, Junior Vice President, British Veterinary Association , Carel du Marchie Sarvaas, Executive Director of HealthforAnimals, the global animal health association.

NOAH’s charity of the year, StreetVet, will also be there, to discuss their amazing work.

Set in a magnificent Grade II listed, four-domed, Edwardian building, the venue is very close to the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St James's Park.
