NC Bradford Pear Bounty Tree Exchange Reservation Form
Saturday, May 4, 2024
9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Hendersonville, North Carolina
This exchange is free and open to all residents of Henderson County.
Pre-registration is required and proof of residency will be requested upon arrival at the pick up site.
Those who RSVP will receive a tree list and the pick-up address at the email address as the event draws closer.
Those who register using this form and reside in Henderson County are eligible to receive up to five free trees total (one per tree removed). Before and after pictures of the Bradford Pear trees you cut down must be shown to organizers at the pick-up to receive replacement trees. Note, this program is geared toward homeowners/landowners. Trees should never be removed from property without the owner's permission.
A limited number of replacement trees/shrubs in 5-7 gallon pots will be available on a first come, first served basis. Some examples of native trees that have been distributed in the past include redbud, serviceberry, black cherry and white oak.
